Our Opening Hours:

The surgery opens its doors at 8:00 AM apart from Wednesdays and the phones are turned on at 8:00 AM each morning.

A patient has a right to express a preference of Practitioner, and whilst the practice will endeavour to comply, it might not always be possible.

DIRECT LINES: The surgery experiences an extremely large volume of telephone calls every day all regarding lots of different questions and queries about our services. We appreciate at times it can be more difficult than others to reach the Reception staff to book an appointment, request test results ect. but if you are needing information from a different area, for example, Referrals or Prescriptions, we offer direct phone lines to our members of staff that specialise in these areas.

To point you, our patients, in the right direction to who you need to be speaking to within the practice we have allocated specific phone lines:

These options are given out when you call the Surgery directly on: 01282 612 621 but with the line to Reception being offered first a lot of patients are not listening to the other direct line options.

PLEASE NOTE: Not all calls made to any of these lines, including reception, can be guaranteed to be answered first time, this is due to the sheer volume of calls we receive. If the direct line you require asks you to leave a message - please do. If your call is not answered your message will not be ignored.

NHS 111

Is a service that offers advice 24 hours a day. If you feel you need advice about a health problem and are not sure what to do next, NHS 111 are always there to help. This is not for 999 emergencies.

Out-Of-Hours Service

This service is reserved for urgent medical matters which cannot wait until the next day when the surgery is open. You will be expected to attend one of the local out-of-hours centres. All calls are initially triaged by 111 and referred on as necessary.
